Channel 5 commission LoveLive to create a fly-on-the-wall documentary on McFly
Channel 5 has commissioned LoveLive to create a fly-on-the-wall documentary following the pop band McFly for its recently re-launched digital channel 5*.
The documentary series, entitled ‘McFly on the Wall’, will follow the band as they embark on their current tour. The six-part series is currently being filmed by LoveLive and will air later this Spring on 5*.
With seven number one singles, eight million records sold worldwide and a fan base that
stretches around the world, they are a band that have stood the test of time. Dougie, Danny, Harry and Tom are now about to go one step further with this new series, which will follow their lives in the most revealing portrait yet.
The boys are fresh from the huge success of their hit single ‘Shine A Light’ and a triumphant 2010. The band are also currently performing on a major UK Arena tour, after nine phenomenal years together.
‘McFly on the Wall’ is one of the first original commissions for 5* since its re-launch at the beginning of March 2011.
